MRC-TRAIN Online Training Catalog and Training Management System

The MRC-TRAIN website provides a list of trainings available to MRC participants.  Once an account has been created for the site, volunteers can register for online and in person trainings from across the country.  This website is a very useful tool for locating training opportunities, and is free to use.  If you have any problems with the system, call 202-218-4426 for technical support.  The national MRC-TRAIN website also provides several reference sources for the MRC-TRAIN system, including a users guide, a frequently asked questions list, a quick guide, and a list of the core competencies that each MRC volunteer should work towards completing.

Online FEMA Training

The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Emergency Management Institute offers online training courses to first responders, volunteers, and others interested in emergency management training.  The FEMA Independent Study section provides access to all online training programs.  Please take as many courses as you are able, and send a copy of your completion email / certificate to mrc@gchc.org.
