Thank you for volunteering to join the Tristate Medical Reserve Corps.  As a new volunteer, there are several documents, websites, and other reference material you are encouraged to review.   If you have any questions, please contact your  local MRC Unit Leaders.

Core Competencies

The National  Association of City and County Health Officials and the  Office of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps have proved a list of eight core competencies or capabilities for MRC volunteers.  Please review the Core Competency Fact Sheet and assess your ability in each competency area.

 

Volunteer Handbook

The Tristate Medical Reserve Corps is currently working to create a volunteer handbook for new volunteers.  This handbook will provide information on MRC preparedness, training opportunities, response information, and other areas of interest to a new volunteer.  Please check back soon
