SOUTHWEST OHIO PUBLIC HEALTH REGION

Mission Statement: The mission of the Emergency Response Coordinator (ERC) Work Group is to provide collaboration between the individual health jurisdictions while planning for, practicing for, or responding to public health emergencies by identifying and preparing to utilize any Federal, State, and Local agency resources and assets available to assure the safety, security, and health of Southwest Ohio.

Vision Statement: The vision of the ERC Work Group is to maintain a regional planning group, with representation from individual health jurisdictions, which is capable of collaborating during a public health response. Any Southwest Ohio health jurisdiction could at any time be a major contributor or recipient of assistance.

Emergency Response Coordinator Work Group

The ERC Work Group is a multi-disciplinary group of public health professionals who are an integral part of the Regional Public Health Planning Committee. The ERC Work Group is the principal architect of the Regional Response Plan, and continues to develop more specific plans for regional emergency response activities.
